When the husband's away ...the Ants will play...on the computer that is!
After 3 weeks holiday G has returned to uni...and I finally get a proper chance to catch up on everything-I have missed out on so much in blogger world!
We have had a busy few weeks in general. We have been away 2 weekends in a row- the first was a gathering for G's extended family...the second was a gathering of my extended family, and then there's been a mad catch up during the week to get work finished, and birthday parties, mid-winter Christmas festivals, catch ups with friends, Harry Potter movie nights,oh and did I mention work in between all of that?
It's nice to be busy though-and to feel normal again! The MS is pretty much gone although I have the odd retch-fest in the morning sometimes still. But nothing that a vegemite Vogels toast won't cure.
So I'm now 16 weeks and 2 days...time is suddenly flying by, I guess that's the bonus of keeping busy. And I now feel very...comfortable in my pregnancy.I don't have the anxiety and fear that I had a few weeks back, and it's a relief. I also have a real little preggy belly now! I can't stop checking out my side profile in the mirror to make sure it's still there, I love having a little belly and I have to confess I've turned into a belly rubber-yes one of those annoying pregnant women who constantly rubs their belly. But I've confined myself to do it only at home!
So things have shifted a little in the past couple of weeks, instead of anxiously waiting until the next scan/appointment/heartbeat listen, and being scared of moving for fear of doing something to Pepe.... I feel like I'm now living a normal life again, working, socialising, exercising.....and all with my precious little stowaway on board for the ride.
