Introducing my darling Baby Giraffe...born 29th December, 8lb 10oz, and a whopping 61cm long!
Sorry I haven't been on here to update yet....it has been a huge couple of weeks and has taken me a wee while to recover from the birth....my good friend Haidee suggested I write down the birth story as a therapeutic measure so I have decided to start doing that and it will be my next post- it was a bit of a birth of extremes-big highs and big lows and it did actually leave me a wee bit emotionally shaken.
Baby G is just lovely though and we are slowly feeling our way into parenthood. As my husband said she is a little heart melter, and it's pretty amazing to see how much she is changing day by day already! :)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and I'm looking forward to a marathon catch-up session on blogger at some stage!
